National Curriculum



National Curriculum - a document that defines the content and form of teaching in secondary schools.
This paper develops the National Curriculum and Assessment Center, and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. It is determined according to the required levels of general education subjects, subject groups, the subjects according to hours, their distribution and the ratio of the maximum load required number of subjects and subject groups for the minimum number of hours of teaching, learning environment, organizational conditions and recommendations.
National Curriculum levels are determined for each class or end to achieve results, ie those achievements (skills - skills and knowledge) list, which every student must have a subject or group of subjects at the end of class or level. The curriculum also provides a modified curriculum for pupils with special educational needs.
The curriculum includes the following subjects and subject groups:
A) Georgian (Abkhazian (angle of Georgia) Autonomous Republic - Abkhazian(angle of georgia) and Georgian) language and literature;
B) the history, the geography and the other social sciences
C) Mathematics
D) Natural Sciences
E) Foreign Languages;
F) The physical, human, and aesthetic education.

The national curriculum is mandatory for all educational institutions.
